Licence Quickfield for Workstation or Session?

Hi all,

We installed Quickfield Scanning on a computer A.

2 users (sessions) can login on this computer but only 1 of them can use Quickfield Scanning.

The other one have an error.

 

Translate : Access to the path 'C: \ ProgramData \ Laserfiche \ Quick Fields \ Licenses \ activation.xml' is denied.

 

On the "Quick Fields 10 Licensing Summary.pdf", page 5, it's wrote "Licensed per workstation" ; so in my mind, this should working, right?

Change the security on the "Quickfields" folder C: \ ProgramData \ Laserfiche \ Quick Fields 

 

Right Click on Quickfields Folder and select properties.

Select Security Tab

Click on Edit

Click Add

Enter the "Everyone" Click OK

Permission window select Everyone and Select Modify

Click Apply.

Now any user that uses that workstation will be able to run quickfields.

Judging from the error message, this looks like an issue with user permissions on the local machine rather than an issue related to Laserfiche licensing. Users using Quick Fields Scanning need to have access to the ProgramData directory on the local machine.
