Laserfiche 10.4.1 database update log

asked on July 15, 2019

From "Release Notes for Laserfiche 10.4.1"

"After installing Laserfiche Server 10.4.1, the Server will automatically update the version 8, 9, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, or 10.3 database. This update process will happen the first time the Laserfiche Server attempts to load a repository. The update process happens behind the scenes, and does not require any user input. It is performed in-place, and does not create a new database. When the update is complete, your repository will be compatible with the Laserfiche 10.4 Server.

Note: With large databases, the automatic schema update may take some time. Be aware that your Laserfiche repository will be inaccessible during this process even though the Laserfiche Server service is running. Check the Windows Event Log to see when the process is complete."

OK, where is this logged?  I could not find it on either the application or the sql server.

You want to open the Event Viewer and then expand "Applications and Services Logs" node in the left hand pane.  Then Expand the Laserfiche node, ContentRepository, and finaly Service node where you will find the Admin log and the Operational log.  You should find what you are looking for in the Admin log.
