Multi-Domain Support for Avante Systems

Hello,

We have a customer who has added a 2nd Domain for their Company.

They added a user from this 2nd Domain, in the LF Admin console.

When the user, from this 2nd Domain tries to log in using Window Auth, they are unable to see a Repository in the list.

I am not sure if Multi-Domain is supported in Avante. Customer is on Version 9.2.

I believe with the release of LFDS for Avante, this could be possible, if we upgrade the customer.

Appreciate any feedback.

Hi Jeff,

This may relate to LFS repository list broadcasts over UDP port 5051 not making it to the second domain rather than a cross-domain auth issue.

First, verify that the user has network connectivity to the LFS instance over port(s) 80/443 using telnet or similar tool. Then, please have the user manually enter the fully-qualified LFS address and repository using the "Attach" option in the Laserfiche Client.

If the user can log in, the issue is the LFS repo broadcast. If the user can't log in, you may have an actual authentication issue.
