variable passes on first form but on second form the field is null

Hi -

I have a form that is doing a look up when the user selects the business unit. The department and area field will auto-fill based on the business unit selected. The first form holds the info but when it goes to next step it turns the area to "Null". Has anyone experienced this? Any solution?

Hi,

Could it be possible that the second form has a lookup rule filling in this same field that may not be getting triggered by the selection of the business unit second time round. I believe you can either disable the lookup rules acting on the second form to retain the data. Or if they are required still, You will need to make sure they are being re triggered, and the area drop-down is being re populated with the choices available in form 1.
