10.4 Web Client Send Document Link in Email
I choose to use my Outlook client

I click Open:

I send the email:

And I receive:

Found the cause/fix  The email body does not seem to be formatted properly.
When I click in the body of the email and flip the “Format Text” to “HTML”, the link works fine.

When I click in the body of the email and flip the “Format Text” to “HTML” and back to “Plain Text”, the link works fine.

I believe there is an error in the underlying code to format the body of the email link.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or found a fix?

We are ALSO running into this issue. We are rolling out 10.4 and users who are emailing are noticing that their emails are being SENT BLANK. It's as if the new outlook email needs to have HTML set as a default when a new email is created...

Can a laserfiche engineer replicate this same issue and discuss a solution. We do not want to be sending blank emails to staff or external individuals.

Hi Denny, are you still experiencing this issue. We are also on 10.4 and are having the same issue. Were you provided with a solution?

Hi Hannah - We recently updated to Laserfiche Web Client 10.4 (10.4.2.214) with Laserfiche Repository Access 10.4.2.58 due to all the heavy bugs (the latest update on December 18). I can confirm that it is now set as HTML, and messages within the body are sending properly. Cheers to a bug resolution! Denny
