Distributed Computing Cluster Workflow

Hi all,

A post with this same title was made in 2017 and it received no replies, so I'm effectively bumping it as I have similar questions.

I'm wondering specifically whether it is better to send a set of documents to the Schedule OCR activity, or if it is better to send each document individually in a loop.

Hi Rob,

From the Workflow documentation on the Schedule OCR activity:

 

Sounds like you're better off sending them as a set. The DCC Scheduler will break up each job into a set of tasks and then distribute those tasks amongst available DCC Workers, rebalancing as necessary.
