connector license unable to download

Recently upgraded RIO system from 9.2 to 10.3.

I am unable to assign a LF Connector license to my workstation where I build the Connector profiles.  

I can register an instance but when I try to download a new license file, I get "lf.licx couldn't be downloaded"

Stupid Microsoft.  Wouldn't download the lf.licx file using IE.  Tried it in Chrome and it worked.

Hi Michael,

You may need to open a support case through your reseller, but I do have a few questions we can start with to better understand your issue.

  1. What version of License Manager or Directory Server are you using?
  2. You say you are unable to assign a license to your workstation. Are you unable to obtain a license during install from Directory Server? If so, what step is causing problems?
  3. Could you include a screenshot of the error you mentioned? Specifically, I'm wondering if it's displayed in a red banner at the top of the Directory Server site or if the error is appearing somewhere else.
  4. Is Connector the only application where you are encountering this issue?
