We currently have the web client 10.3 configured for auto-login using Laserfiche Server Authentication. I would also like to setup auto login for Forms 10.3. Looks like that is accomplished via Directory server authentication using an STS instance. I read about having to reconfigure users and groups for Forms in LFDS. That could be a manageable job in my case, however what, if any, will be the impact on the repository access via web client and auto-login feature?

It sounds like right now you use LF server authentication for both web client and Forms. If you'd like to switch to Laserfiche Directory Server (LFDS) authentication, you can enable auto-login for both web client and Forms. Here are some other Answers posts about that:

LFDS is a device and user license management system that will allow you to administer all of your LF products and users. When you go to a Laserfiche product like Forms, you actually log in through LFDS which then tells Forms you are a valid user. Web client behaves the same way. By switching to LFDS authentication, you can log in to all LF products at once, automatically authenticate, among many other useful features.
Thank you, Jared
I am trying to evaluate the amount of work involved in getting everything working after configuring Single Sign-on. For Forms I read I will have to reconfigure users and groups in LFDS https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-US/administration/#../Subsystems/Forms/Content/Administration/Configuring-User-Authentication.htm
What I will need to do to the users and groups for the repositories. Reconfigure all that as well in LFDS?
Laserfiche offers a utility that can help ease the migration from LFS authentication and users to LFDS authentication and users. I believe after running the utility, it either completely takes care of the changes in the web client, or the changes are relatively simple.
