Re-licensing Empower 2019 VM

Hello! We want to re-license the Empower 2019 VM with our demo LF licenses. Is that possible? If so, are there any step-by-step guide to which keys I have to use to complete re-license the LF system on the VM?

Hi Felipe,

It is possible to use your demo licenses for the Empower VM. The Empower VM install is an Avante system. There isn't a specific step-by-step, but you will want to re-license the following components depending on which ones you plan to make use of:

  • Laserfiche Server
  • Web Client
  • Forms
  • Quick Fields
  • Quick Fields Server
  • WebLink
  • Import Agent

 

You'll use the activation tool in order to generate your license keys, and you will want to replace the lf.licx files listed in the locations in this KB article.
