import Problem. Urgent! S.O.S.

asked on February 16, 2019 Show version history

Hi. I need help. I had a problem with an export / import of a briefcase.
The first thing I did was to generate a briefcase from repository A to a repository B that I had on the same server, a 150Gb file was made, so I needed to put it in another repository on the same disk, but it was low on disk space, what I had to delete the information from repository A so that I could import the file. The problem was that when I tried to import the briefcase, I reached 40% and I sent an error that the portfolio was corrupted. Check in other threads about the briefcases and I turned it into .tar and I was able to extract the whole portfolio without problem. See this league:
https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-us/administration/Default.htm#../Subsystems/lfmsg/Content/7434.htm
The detail is that it does not work doing it with the briefcase, but the extraction of the .tar file worked fine... do you know if it is possible with the decompressed files to use them to import them into Laserfiche?

The briefcase import could be failing with that error because the LF server machine is running out of disk space when extracting all of the files. The LF server needs enough disk space for the briefcase plus all of the extracted files. On the LF server machine, check for a briefcase import log under <path to your LF repository>\LOGS, it should contain more information about why the import failed.

Hi, yes, actually that's the problem! I add much more space to the disk and then work normally!

Thanks!
