Web Accelerator supported OS

Web Accelerator Installation and Upgrades

In the Web Accelerator documentation, under the requirements supported OSs, it does not list Windows 2016.  I have a customer that tried to install it on a Windows Server 2016 Datacenter machine and after all the prerequisite checks passed, the installation erred out with the following message:

Is there any way to get around this error?

I would give the steps under 'IIS 10 compatibility' a try.
