Drag and Drop Import from Outlook to Firefox - How to Enable?

asked on November 30, 2018

Our Finance department uses Firefox as their default web browser because it's required for our accounting software. It looks like drag and drop import from Outlook is supported in IE and in Chrome with the Laserfiche Web Access Extension enabled (https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/51051/Can-you-drag-and-drop-emails-from-Outlook-in-to-Web-Access ) but I can't find the extension for Firefox.

How can I enable drag and drop import from Outlook to Firefox?

I ended up finding an answer. In case anyone else has this issue and needs to drag and from emails from Outlook to Firefox, apparently you can use Chrome extensions in Firefox if Firefox doesn't natively have the extension you need (as is the issue here). Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chrome-store-foxified/ and Add, then search for Laserfiche and it is the Laserfiche Web Access Extension that you need:

Actually, on further investigation, I still couldn't get this to work, although I think it should, in theory.
