Fill out PDF not filling out final PDF

I have a workflow used with forms that fills out a PDF. Originally it was working fine but I had to make some edits to the PDF within Acrobat. Now when I submit a form I am getting a blank pdf.

 

The pdf isn't locked, it should have permission to write on the pdf. I'm guessing it is missing some small permission somewhere thats right in front of me that I am missing.

In your Fill Out PDF Form action, is it possible that when you made edits you called the PDF fields a different name so now what is referenced on there is incorrect?

You can remove the two fields and add them back in and see if that works OR To make certain, in the PDF drop down where it names your form, click on the elliptical and then locate your form and click Edit... . Now make sure you replace it with the one you changed and let's see if it finds those fields.

The names seem to be correct but now I am not even getting a pdf document created.

Got it working still not entirely sure how. I think it has something to do with the attach electronic document

Im looking into this more and it seems to do with adding too many buttons. I tested it with half of form mapped in the "Fill Out PDF Form" and it worked and with 75% filled and then I get to a certain point and it just throws up.  

 

I am editing the PDF with Acrobat XI

Try looking at the instance details to see what failed. You should be able to see an error message if the workflow terminated.

I see Miruna Babatie. I am getting an error message saying "Index was out or Range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index. This message was for the Fill out PDF form task of the workflow.

But at least I have somewhere to start checking.

The pdf isn't locked or encrypted and in the security section, I see there are no restrictions.

Index I think refers to the lengths or type of data not security?
For that field, check what type of field is it? If you are inputting a multi-value thing, make sure that the PDF's field can accept multi-values.
