Question

Office 2019 64 and 32 bit

asked on October 24, 2018

This post states that Microsoft Office 2019 is supported with Laserfiche 10.3.1.

This KB states both 64 and 32 bit versions of Office 2016 are supported with LF 10.3.1.

Does Laserfiche 10.3.1 support both 64 and 32 bit versions of Office 2019?

Thanks

Hi Erik,

Sure, there are some known issues with 64 bit, such as:-

Given the choice, I would always advise installing 32 bit Office. Unless you're doing some serious macros in Excel or something that requires a lot of grunt, there is no reason to install 64 bit.

Hi Erik,

If Office xxx is stated as supported, this means both the 32 and 64 bit options are supported unless explicitally mentioned. There are some things to note around 64 bit versions of office, but on the whole most of the functionality is there.

Cheers! yes

Thanks Chris,

Can you elaborate on what "things to note around 64 bit versions" means?
