Read-Only Sessions with expired Laserfiche license

asked on August 20, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I have Laserfiche Server 10.2.1 installed in one of my systems with a company license which expired on August 5th 2018.

When I try to delete a document through the laserfiche client, it's giving me Permission Denied [6317] message. But I am able to view/open all the documents. Is this because of the expired license? The only reason I am not sure is because it's allowing me to login to both the client and the admin and view all the documents through the client but not delete them.

When I try to modify any settings in the admin console, it's giving me A read-only session is not permitted to perform this operation [9105].

I have attached two screenshots with the issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

To be specific, expired repositories allow 1 read-only user access. That ensures organizations can still access the documents, but additional modifications cannot be performed.

Hi Mohan,

This is because your license is expired. I've seen this issue before. You need to renew your License/LSAP to rectify this issue.

Cheers!
