Question

Annotations

asked on July 5, 2018

I work in local government, and we are working with the Tax department to build a business process for mapping deeds.  The mappers need to be able to make annotations on the documents (text inside a box, rectangle, sticky notes, highlight, etc.).  They are able to perform all of these, but they also need to be able to add text without the box.  Is this possible?  I know it's possible to make the text box white (invisible), but you have to continue to change the colors back and forth.  Just thought someone else might have a better solution.  Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What about the Stamps option?  You can create stamps with any words of your choice and save the new "stamp" for future use.

That's a good idea.  I will have to check with them to see if the text is always the same.  No other options that you know of?

Nope, but I'm not an expert.  Just a user.  After looking at my stamps, I saw there are color options to set into the stamps, but I realized there are still boxes around the stamp impressions.
