Question

Port used by Laserfiche Connector

asked on May 30, 2018

Hi All,

Please can someone confirm what port is used for the LF connector when executing profiles and configuring profiles etc.

I'm assuming it's port 80 (or 443 if using SSL) going from past experience, but just need confirmation as it's not in any whitepapers or dev notes I can find.

Cheers!

Hi Chris,

Connector doesn't listen on any port. If you mean Connector runs action on Laserfiche, it can use the port Laserfiche server exposes (usually 80 or 443 if using SSL).

Thanks Huazhen, I thought this was the case but just needed confirmation. Would be good to include this in the ports whitepaper. Cheers!

@████████,

What port does Connector talk back to LFDS on? We want to turn off any unnecessary ports via firewall. Thanks

Hi Chris,

It depends on which ports you configure to be LFDS listening port. The default port of LFDS:

  • Listening port: 5048
  • HTTPs Listening port: 5049
