Configuring Data Sources in Forms - [LFF2400-DataSourceConnectionError] when testing

This is on a new forms server. Got their forms DB set up with an account and I am using that same account to set up a lookup table. I also tested connecting the data sources to the forms DB to test, also getting the same error.

Forms is still running fine so I am not sure why setting up a data source is having such a problem connecting?

Hey Rob,

I was able to figure it out. Turned out that using the FQDN of the server didn't work and using the IP address did. It is something on their end but I was able to get it working. Thank you!

Hi Keith,

I'm glad you were able to get things working. I'll be sure to remember the FQDN/IP address issue if I run into a data source connection issue in Forms in the future.
