Laserfiche Snapshot 8 not working after uninstall Laserfiche Snapshot 10

Now, Laserfiche Server version is 8.1 

PC has installed Laserfiche Client 8.1 and Laserfiche Snapshot 8 (x64) version. Both can work in Laserfiche Server 8.1 normally.

Due to the migration from Laserfiche 8.1 to Laserfiche 10.3.1 in the future, I have installed Laserfiche Client 10.3.1 and snapshot 10 without uninstall Laserfiche Client 8.1 and Laserfiche snapshot 8 (x64) in the same PC. It can upgrade successfully but cannot access Laserfiche Server 8.1. Therefore I uninstall Laserfiche Client 10.3.1 and Snapshot 10 using Window's Add and Remove Program. Then I install back Laserfiche Client 8.1 and Laserfiche Snapshot 8 (x64). But Laserfiche Snapshot 8 is not working. It does not pop up screen to input information. File cannot import to the Laserfiche using Laserfiche Snapshot 8.

 

 

How does Laserfiche Snapshot 8 can back to normal?

 

Besides, I installed Laserfiche Client 10.3.1 without uninstall Laserfiche Client 8.1 and Laserfiche snapshot 8 (x64) . Is it correct procedure?

 

I uninstall Laserfiche Client 10.3.1 and Snapshot 10 using Window's Add and Remove Program. Then Install back Laserfiche Client 8.1 and Snapshot 8. Is it correct procedure?

The Laserfiche Server isn't forward compatible like that, so it makes sense that when you tried to upgrade the client and snapshot to 10 while the server is on 8 it didn't work. 

I haven't seen this issue before but the first thing I would do in this case is a full uninstall and reinstall of the products on this computer.
