Here is what I have. I have an external facing webserver using a domain of: docs.company.net. Internally the domain is internal.company.net and my server is server.

The issue I have is that I need to register the webaccess server with. docs.company.net which is what I registered my SSL cert with. Where the problem comes in is that in LFDS I need to type the name of the server in and then it "logs in" to the server and generates a fingerprint. When I use either server or server.internal.company.net it works fine. When I try to use docs.company.net it does not work and asks for permissions.

Is there a way to setup DNS so that this will work?

I have gone in DNS and created a new zone for docs.company.net and put the webserver IP as the host (a) for that zone. However I'm not sure what to do to make that name work so that LFDS will allow me to register docs.company.net.

Note: This only matters if "Only sign in with SSO" is checked. If not I can use whatever I want and it works fine.

Thank you for the assistance.
