Question

White Papers

asked on January 31, 2018

Hi Guys,

The white papers are indeed a valuable resource of the Laserfiche toolbox, particularly when putting together requirements for new implementations or quoting best practice.

What I've come to notice, is quite a lot of the 'current' white papers are now becoming exceedingly dated. Some go back to 2005 which are still classed as current and are focused around Laserfiche 8. Granted the theoretical architecture is the same between V8 & V10, but it doesn't look very good when quoting these as part of a tender response for example.

Is there anything in the pipeline to have these re-freshed/updated, and if not can I make a request for this to happen?

Cheers!

Hi Chris,

We have quite a few of these in the pipeline updated for 10 that are in the final stages of review before posting. For example, we've recently updated the one on failover considerations. It's a focus in the coming months to spruce up many of these old papers for 10 (even though, as you said, many of the core ideas remain fundamentally the same).

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a link to all Laserfiche whitepapers, I have been searching the support portal and the answers pages for a link and don't see a link to whitepapers anywhere.

I am looking for Security whitepapers specifically.
