Do you have to have separate database and OS loaded for each repository used in Avante as we are new to Laserfiche and setting up and in house system?

We are setting up in house system to be used in our daily operations and a separate test system for other uses so want to get clarification on this before beginning project.

 

We will have 2 repositories.

Multiple repositories can exist on the same Laserfiche Server instance, but each repository requires it's own associated database. The databases can be in the same DBMS. 

If you are talking about completely separate Laserfiche Servers, then yes, they need to be on different machines.

Thanks as they would be on same physical server running VM.
