Question

Error 9030 "sign in failed because number of sessions..." with Fully licensed users

asked on October 17, 2017

We have 2 full Repository users that receive Error 9030 (Sign in failed because the number of sessions has reached the licensed limit, or the user account has reached its session limit, or no named user license has been allocated to the user account. [9030]) when trying to login.

The other repository user, Admin, can get in just fine.

We recently upgraded to 10.2 and yesterday was the first time these repository users tried to login since the upgrade. We're on Rio, and from the Admin console and LFDS I see nothing that would indicate an issue with these two users being at a session limit or license limit.

Does anyone have any suggestions or direction on this?

We had this issue, we un-ticked the user license in the Admin Console and then reassigned the licenses this then fixed the issue that we had.

I hope this helps.
