Upgraded from 10.1 to 10.2 successfully but logging in with Windows User ID has stopped working

asked on August 18, 2017

Hi,

We have just upgraded our test environment from 10.1 to 10.2. All seemed to work well but apart from the Forms user we cannot login with any other username that we used to use for Forms, which was in fact all Windows Users. Anyone any ideas? The Windows accounts are seen in the repository fine and are Full Named User license holders. Thanks in advance.

The first thing to check is your authentication settings in FormsConfiguration. Make sure that the connection to the repository is verified. If that's working, manually run the user synchronization, and then look in Event Viewer and see if either the domain controller is throwing errors, or Laserfiche Forms or Laserfiche Server are throwing errors.
