Question

Discussions Licensing Users maximum users allowed ?

asked on July 26, 2017

Hi,

What is the licensing requirements for a user to access the discussions section ?

Is there a licensing model available that allows for an organization to give access to it's members (not staff) full access to post and use the discussions as they would use Wordpress for example etc. ? It be nice to not use Wordpress for discussions or other discussion boards when we have LF already.

From what i understood so far is that only "full named user " can access the discussions area, there is no option to add users as one can in Wordpress etc. etc. , please correct me if I am mistaken here.

Thanks.

Have you put in a feature request related to this? PowerPoint slides indicate retrieval users can have access, but I do not know if it can operate like Web Link with an auto login.

I created a slightly different questions, but I believe we are looking for similar things... https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/135667/Laserfiche-Discussions--Forum-for-Public

To the original question - both full and retrieval named Laserfiche users can access and post to discussions.
