Show forms section based on User Input

I'm running 10.2 forms on RIO and trying to show a forms section based on user selection of a drop down list. I can figure out how to show a FIELD but not an entire section. I'm sure there's a simple answer out there ...

Hi Mary,

If i am understanding the requirement, then best option is have a section in the form where you have multiple fields underneath it:

Once you have setup the fields within that section, you will need to then go to Field Rules and create a rule for that section to be visible based on a selection:

thank you so much for getting back to me. I've done every thing you suggest but my problem stems from when I go into the field rules, I can't select the section to show / hide. The list to chose from is all the individual fields within the section. Should I show / hide all the fields (what a pain that would be)?

I was hoping to just select the section in the field rules ...
