Laserfiche Scanning Uses Up an Additional License

Hi,

Customer has LF 9.2 and on there scan station when a users log's in the LF Client and uses the scanner feature it uses up 2 named user license sessions.  and when that user is done he closes the LF Client and a new user logs in under the same user name( Scanner) it now has 4 license being used.

Is there a fix so the scan feature does not use up a extra license?

Looks like you have an orphaned connection. Scanning doesn't allow multiple copies of the executable to be open at the same time, so it's weird that you have 2 connections from LFScan.exe. They could happen if Scanning thinks its underlying Client connection was terminated and it prompted the user for login.

Try terminating them.
