Issues with QuickFields Administration Console when accessed from public ip

asked on April 11, 2017

Hi there,

We're having some issues with the QuickFields Admin Console when we try to access it from our Public IP, we're getting a "Could not connect to the Quick Fields Server. [QF1000]" message...

But, there's no problem whatsoever when we access it locally...

We've already added/opened port 8093 in the Windows Firewall inbound and outbound rules. Turning the firewall completely off doesn't solve it either.

Any ideas would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Marlon, could you open a support case so we can review some configuration points? We suspect there is additional configuration needed but would rather tackle that in a support case than in the public forum. We'll update this thread when we find the resolution.

A case has been opened with Laserfiche Support. The thread will be updated when a resolution has been found.

Hi All,

I was the same error message but in localhost.

This is how I resolved mine.

Maybe this can help you.

Have you tried a hard refresh?

Hi Pieter,

Tried this, still a no go, tried it in Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

Strangely, IE gave me a different message, it said "Access is denied."...

Any ideas? Does this change anything?

Thank you.
