797 Error when using client

When I am outside of my companies network, and I am using a VPN client, I am unable to access LF through the client, I can only access it through web access. Here is the error I am receieving when I try to connect:

It looks like my IT may have indirectly fixed the problem. There appeared to be a firewall issue on our side that prevented me from properly connecting with the server. Thank you gentlemen for your help.

Can you ping the LF server machine when you are connected through the VPN? If so, there might be a firewall that is blocking access.

Try attaching the repository manually using the server's IP Address instead of its name.
