Question

Laserfiche Forms Single Sign On SSO capability

asked on January 25, 2017

Hi Everyone,

I have a customer which is a community college. They would like to know if Laserfiche Forms has the ability to work with Single Sign On. The goal here is to have a student portal, and then when the student logs on, the authentication information is passed to Laserfiche Forms so the UserID, etc. can be prefilled on the form. The students would not have a Laserfiche user license so this would be done through forms portal. Also they want to ensure that no one can fill out the form without authenticating through the portal first.

Thanks!

Support for generic SAML is on the to-do list for Directory Service later this year, though not currently slated for its 10.2 release.

Hi Blake,

Thanks but I was wondering if the new 10.2 release changed any of those answers.

10.2 has not added any features in that regard.

Miruna, I thought I heard something regarding SAML at Empower. Can you confirm that Directory Service 10.2 will NOT have SAML support?
