Good morning,

I've done most of the upgrade from Rio 10.1 to 10.2, and everything seems to have gone well except for Forms. When the installation finishes I receive an error at /FormsConfig that my database is a previous version. Based on instructions in the post referenced below, I attempted to upgrade the database manually by running mssql_upg101_102.sql in SSMS, which appeared to run successfully, but I had no better luck getting into either /Forms or /FormsConfig.

I have since restored the database and the Forms server to their previous states, but I'd still like to upgrade, so if anyone can think of a reason why our first attempt at upgrading Forms failed, I'd appreciate the help.

Hi Jesse,

Please open a support case and provide a backup of your Forms 10.1 database. Can you also let us know the exact version of Forms 10.1 that you were using, i.e. which update was applied?

For the benefit of other users. As posted by Raymond in this thread, this issue was caused by http redirection on the Forms server. Removing redirection permitted browsing to http://localhost/Forms/FormsConfig from which the upgrade could continue and the issue resolved.
