Laserfiche Server Service can't start

Hello,

I'm installing Laserfiche Rio 10.1. For now, I've installed Directory Server and Laserfiche Server but at the end of the install, the wizard try to start Laserfiche Server Service in vain.

I've tried to reboot the computer, nothing change. If I start the service manually I get an error (cf attachment) but I can't find any trace of it in the windows log.

Any ideas ?

You're probably missing a Windows server update:

Can you post the error you found (though it sounds like a potential Forms error). The Laserfiche Server's event log moved for version 10 under Application and Services logs\Laserfiche\ContentRepository\Service in the Event Viewer (from the previous Application log location).

I faced the same problem with our client.

The problem was that, there was Apache service running which was interfering http communication on IIS.

After disabling Apache running Laserfiche Server Service was able to run.
