The search engine encountered an internal error. Please check the search engine error log for more details. [9132]

Hello,

I have a user who is trying to generate searchable text for different types of documents and they receive the error:

Failed to index Test Document. The search engine encountered an internal error. Please check the search engine error log for more details. [9132]

They are currently on version 9.0.3.798. Other users on the same version have this issue as well.

They have already ran a repair on the client while logged in as a local admin but this did not resolve the issue.

They can import a document and generate searchable text that way.

Has anyone see this issue before?

Thanks!

Hello Charles,

Did you verify that the OCR engine is installed on that workstation?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Yes, If I go to Tools>Options>Generate Text

It shows that the OCR engine is Omni OCR

Thanks

Charles,

Ok, but did you actually check in the "Programs and Features" to see if the actual OCR engine is in fact installed?

Thanks,

Jon
