Hi Darren,

Your Support Site account doesn't have the "Product Download" role so you will need to request that role through the Support Site itself. Your organization's "User Admin" will then receive the request and can grant you the requested role.

Hello Darren,

Thanks for bringing this issue up.  The download button should actually be invisible if you don't have the permissions to download the file, so we'll look into the issue and make corrections if necessary.

Thanks,

Hi

I have no trouble downloading. Last two links wont work because sid is null. it should be something like this.

http://download.laserfiche.com//protected/release/Laserfiche_SDK_10_0_0_47_20160215.exe?sid=sm14tyrvdtzme4b0iehepujn

Thanks,  but perhaps a better response to a download failure is needed. If an account does not have permissions then stating that would be helpful, instead of the file not found message.

Hello Darren,

Thanks for bringing this point up.  The download button actually shouldn't be visible if the user doesn't have the correct permissions to download the file, so we'll look into why the button is visible in your case and make corrections if needed.

I have also found this very confusing. There should be a message letting a user who is looking for the download know that they can't find it because they don't have access.

I spent a huge amount of time clicking around on your site looking for the download only to eventually find this post. Not user friendly at all. Give your poor users an error message.

Hi

I am at the conference, have all the VMs setup on my laptop and have been taking the programming courses.  Now wanting to set up the SDK to walk through the code while waiting for my plane :-)   The folks back home said they changed my account so that I should be able to download, but I am not yet seeing the "download" button on the SDK download pages.  Your help appreciated

Thanks

JQ

Update 2/13/2017:   Able to download today, thanks
