Recommended specs/settings for sql running both Laserfiche and Workflow on the same server

Hello all,

 

We have been having issues lately with LF crashing when a user saves entries in the repository.  Does anyone have recommended specs/settings for memory and processor to make this setup run as smoothly as possible?

There's not enough information to make a good recommendation as the specs would depend on the number of users and the expected activity (both in LF and in WF). You can look at this white paper on hardware planning.

For the crash though, it might be best to have the server create a dump file when it happens and have your reseller send it to Tech Support. See KB 1012603 for instructions on how to set it up. You want to use LFS.exe when you set up ProcDump to monitor the Laserfiche Server for crashes.
