Photograph File Size - TIFF vs JPEG in Laserfiche

Which would be the best way to store photographs into Laserfiche, TIFF or JPEG?

 

So I tested it & the JPEG came to be 1.18 MB & the Laserfiche TIFF conversion came to be 1.17 MB.  So the file size is pretty much the same within Laserfiche.  Is there any reason to store photographs within Laserfiche as JPEGS?

Hi Paul,

 

You've kind of hit the nail on the head really. There isn't really much in it. The only consieration would be if the users had to email the photographs out of Laserfiche. The users at the other end would probably prefer to recieve them in JPEG rather than TIFF I'm guessing?
