Question

10.1 Update 1 & LFDS_x64_100222_KB1013748.msp

asked on August 18, 2016

We just upgraded to 10.1, and we are now planning to apply:

1) LFDS_x64_100222_KB1013748.msp to fix a login problem.

2) Laserfiche101_Update1_20160616.exe as to keep our version patched to the latest.

Question:  Do I need to install these 2 patches separately?   Reason I ask, is LFDS_x64_100222_KB1013748.msp can be executed on a command prompt to address having to use our own password-protected .pfx file.  Would Laserfiche101_Update1_20160616.exe  be able to successfully apply the login fix that we are currently having?

Thanks!

They are patches to separate products. LFDS_x64_100222_KB1013748.msp needs to be applied to your LFDS installation, while Laserfiche101_Update1_20160616 needs to be applied to the Laserfiche Server and Client installations.

So yes, they both have to be applied separately. Laserfiche101_Update1_20160616 should be applied to every machine where the Laserfiche Client is installed in addition to the Laserfiche Server and Web Access servers.
