Rio Licensing issue

i have a customer with a remote location they have a rio system at their headquarters. They would like the remote site to be responsible for their own self server hardware. When trying to activate using the rio license manager it fails stating that it could not establish a connection to the specified server. Check server  name and credentials. We can RDP into the license manager from the remote site with the credentials just fine we have ports 5048 and 5049 open. Is there something I'm missing in order to get it to activate. Also can you have more than one license server. What ports need to be open in order for the license server to communicate with the remote active directory as well.

Which version of Laserfiche is this? 8? 9? 10? 

I think you need 80(http), 443(https), 1888, 5050 and 5051
