Laserfiche 10 FAQ

asked on July 26, 2016

I am trying to read the Laserfiche 10 FAQ white paper and the laserfiche website doesn't appear to have a link to it.  Can someone please send me a link to it?

Hi Vanessa,

We are currently looking into this. If you search for "Laserfiche Rio 10 Frequently Asked Questions" can you find the article in the list? Instead of clicking on the link to go to the splash page, does the shortcut icon to download appear in the search results? And if so can you download properly from there?

Can't tell from the screenshot, but is there a download button on the right hand side, next to the Share button?

There are links to Related Articles below the Share button, but no actually white paper for LF10 FAQ.

If you sign out and sign back in, does the download button appear next to the share button?

Justin, I tried signing out and back in twice.  The download button never appeared.  I have tried it also on two different browsers.  Both appear as below.

Thank you James, it now seems to be working.  What is odd is that the download option wasn't available at all earlier and now it has appeared. Not sure what changed, but it is all good now.

Hi Vanessa,

I was just about to update you. There was an issue with how permissions were reflected in the code that was just addressed and pushed live almost immediately after my last update.

Glad to hear that it is working now, and sorry for any inconvenience earlier.

James, I have another issue. I am attempting to look at other downloads and this error keeps popping up.

Hi Vanessa, this is because you do not have Product Download Access role granted on the Support Site. Although in this case the Download button should not be appearing for you...I'll check back with the team about that.

To get the Product Download Access role, you can ask someone at your organization with a User Admin role.
