Upgrading from LF 9 to LF 10

Hi Everyone,

 

I am doing an upgrade from lf 9 to lf 10, i'm on the step where we have to upgrade the full text search catalog.

We have chosen the offline option and it's taking 19 hours to process. Is it a normal behavior?Please note that we have not chosen the Laserfiche Quick ReIndex Utility.

Can we go cancel the operation and select the online option instead? or will it affect our upgrade?

Hi Ketsia,

 

The speed of the re-index is totally dependant on the size of your repository. How many documents are in your repository?

 

(you can find this out by right clicking the root folder and selecting properties, then navigating to the folder tab)
