Question

Repository metadata date fields one day behind the dates entered on the originating form

asked on July 10, 2016

Hi guys,

I'm testing the "Timesheet Process" form from the BP Library, in Forms 10.1.  It's working well except for a date discrepancy between what is entered on the form and what shows in the metadata fields following the Save to Repository activity.  For example, there are two main dates on the form: Pay Period Start, Pay Period End, plus I'm recording the Submission Date as the form completed date.  In the Save to Repository task I'm using the date variables to populate the document name as well as corresponding template fields.  The dates in the document name in the repository are correct, the dates in the resulting PDF document in the repository are correct, yet although the same variables are used for populating the template date fields, the resulting dates in the metadata fields are a day behind.

Here are the field settings, and below are the results:

I've checked the server settings and everything is set to the same time zone (UTC+12:00), and I've confirmed that the settings apply to "Current user", "Welcome screen", and "New user accounts".  I'm on a test server with the Forms client and Laserfiche 10 client installed on the server so everything is running locally and in theory, in the same time zone.

The date fields in the template are Short date with no default values or constraints.

I can only assume it's some sort of time zone setting somewhere, but that doesn't explain how the document name in the repository has the correct dates when the template fields don't.  Can someone please advise on this?

Thanks,

Mike

Found the answer!  I missed this post when searching earlier, but it showed up after submitting my question.  Thanks to Xiuhong's answer, it's the Publishing Options time zone on the form, I hadn't published the form yet so hadn't seen that the time zone was different.
