Forms file upload Merge the attachment behind the form

Is there a way to have the File upload attachment to be merged with the starting form.

 

For example, we have our field offices complete a deposit form, and attach a copy of the check. This creates 2 documents in Laserfiche, someone then manually drags the attachement behind the form before the proceed sand start the workflow to file  the docyument.

i have used workflow to do that. attachments have same name, workflow picks it up and using move pages activity, merge it into the actual form.

Do you have the steps to move it? i see the move pages, if i am kicking this off from Forms, how do i find both entries?

You can't do it like that. Attachments would be electronic documents when saved to Laserfiche, so Move Pages would have nothing to work with. And they would be overwriting each other if you set them as the electronic document.

If you only have 1 attachment though, and you save the form to Laserfiche as a TIFF not a PDF, you could start a workflow when the form is created, have it use Retrieve Form Content and get the attachment and set is as the electronic document component to the starting entry using Attach Electronic Document. That way you end up with the form itself as the image pages and the check attachment as the e-doc on the same entry in LF.
