Question

Mobile Config windows security prompt

asked on June 15, 2016

The administrator account used to install and manage the server can't log into the security prompt.  There are no other accounts capable of superseding this.  Is there a file somewhere I need to specify the primary account used?  Or a way to disable the windows security prompts when trying to access the config?

I opened a support case on it.  Seems like it's mostly the setup with IIS and adding a certificate and web site for the server.  More Microsoft related that their IT will need to deal with.  The prompt was for windows credentials.

Hey Chase,

For clarification purposes, may you specify at which part you're receiving this security prompt(or provide a screenshot)? and are you returned with any errors?

A few things to note is that this administrator account, ensure that it is part of the Administrators Group within that Server machine(Control Panel > Administrative Tools >  Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Groups > Administrators).

Also make sure said administrator account has read/write access into the program files/Laserfiche products
