asked on June 14, 2016

Hello,

I have a user who is having an issue with running a specific Quick Fields session. When they run it, they get error 9013. To their knowledge the issue just started happening recently. The error tab in Quick Fields has the below information:

<Errors>

<Error Time="06/14/2016 21:15:01" Type="LFSOException" Message="Permission denied. [9013]">

  </Data>

  <InnerException>

    <Error Time="06/14/2016 21:15:01" Type="COMException" Message="Permission denied.">

   at Laserfiche.BatchProcessor.ComponentModel.LFSO90.Lfso90Connection.Open(ConnectionInfo connectionInformation)</Trace>

    </Error>

  </InnerException>

   at Laserfiche.QuickFields.MetadataUpdater.Updaters.QF8DocumentClassUpdater.OnRunUpdate()</Trace>

</Error>

</Errors>

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

This is an error when updating metadata for the document classes in the session. When exactly do they see it?

seems like a permission issue. could it be because of the folder path where doc is being saved? or the template or field access right? just guessing

Hi Miruna,

The user is stating that the error doesn't pop up, instead it seems like the process is not working the way it should. Below is the exact timeline of what is done before the error arises:

"An employee scans the transcripts to a specific folder in LF

On the hour, the QF agent checks for documents in that folder

The documents are picked up by QF

Processes run in Quick Fields

QF will not store the documents unless I manually select store. ( They do have Process and Store selected in the Agent.)"

Thanks!

Hello,

I was able to find a resolution to the issue by changing the authentication in the document class from Windows Authentication to Laserfiche Authentication.

Thanks

Right, that's what the message above says, it gets a 9013 when it tries to connect to the repository to update metadata. That's why I was asking where you see it, because it wouldn't actually stop the session from running. Quick Fields Agent would try to connect as the service user if Windows authentication is selected.  By default, that would be Local System.

I am getting the same error when trying to load a Quickfield session, see below...

The customer recently replaced their server with one of identical name. Any suggestions how to fix this?
