Error preparing page for OCR / Unknown error.

When running the OCR process through client version 10.0.0.1039 documents, the following error appears:
Galvez, Noemi 15152, page 4: Error reading file. /  [6408]
Galvez, Noemi 15152, page 4: Error preparing page for OCR / 
 Unknown error. [6000]

The file continues to process and completes all but this page in the file.  There doesn't seem to be anything different about the document image on this page of the file than the ones before or after. 

These are images already stored in the Laserfiche repository as multi page tiff images.

I would look at this thread. It could be a DPI issue or with that page. To see the stats on an individual page of a multipage tiff, I would suggest using the info tool of the free program irfanview. 

 

Also, if that page has a width or height that is extremely large you can get the same. (I don't know what the limit is exactly but I know it usually only happens with high rez pictures or extremely wide blueprint scanners).

Chris,

Thanks for the reply.  Looked at the thread before posting this.  Checked the DPI and all the images in the file have the same DPI, so DPI does not seem to be the culprit.

 

Any other ideas would be most appreciated.

Do you get the same behavior on other workstations for the same document?
