Title Bar Customization in Grid View of Custom Search

asked on June 10, 2016 Show version history

Is it possible to change the title bar in grid view of a custom search to display metadata instead of the defaults (which for me are:) Name, Hits, Address, Permit/License No., Business Name, Service Type, and Page Count?

Hi Roger,

You can customize column views by clicking My WebLink at the top right of the page and selecting Search Options on the left. In this view, you'll be able to specify what columns are displayed and include specific metadata.

Keep in mind that when you do a template search, columns will be appended from the selected template in addition to the ones you've set, which may be what you're experiencing now. Hope this helps!

Hey Roger,

It is definitely possible to configure your default column views for the advanced search.

In the desktop client, you will be able to modify your default column views under tools>options.

In options there should be a section for search> columns.  Here you will be able to select the default metadata that will show when you run an advanced search.

In Web Access, if you right click on the title bar, the column picker option will show up.  This all allow you to change the information you see.  Web Access will remember you selection for future sessions.  You can also save various title bar configurations as profiles so you can easily switch back and forth.
