Question

Can scanning hotkeys be saved and copied in a user profile?

asked on June 9, 2016

Hello,

Can scanning hotkeys be saved and copied in a user profile? Meaning can we set-up scanning keys for one user and then distribute/import it to other users.

Regards

Assuming you are referring the the custom keyboard shortcuts in Laserfiche Scanning, then yes you can! The keyboard shortcuts created are stored as trustee attributes. Some more information about attributes and how to transfer them to different different users can be found here.

Cathy,

Thanks. Which attributes should I be looking for? I have already looked at the attributes before posting on here but nothing stood out.

[Scanning-WINDOWSUSER]Commands. The values are in its child keys. Make sure you check "Show system attributes before exporting and select all keys with names in the [Scanning-WINDOWSUSER]CommandsX$ format where X is a number.
