Forms on Mobile device - text or number sensitive fields

Hi all,

 

I have a client asking whether it's possible to have the mobile app recognise whether a field requires text or number input - and changed the device's input keyboard accordingly (so it switches to numbers on a currency field, and back to text on a name field and so on).

 

If that's not currently possible - please add it to a feature request list!

Hi Duncan,

We are having this on our to-do list. We are about to do some work to make the experience with working on metadata better and this is surely one of the tasks.

This would be a nice feature!  Is it still on the roadmap?

This feature has been supported with the new form(compare to classic form) in Forms 11.

Where is this feature option in the new form in Forms 11?  I also have a number field I'd like the mobile device to switch to a keypad for input on.

I am also looking for how to bring up the number input pad on a mobile device.
