Question

Generate Weblink Activity

asked on June 9, 2016

Hello Everyone,

I have done a workflow with 'email activities' inside my 'route to folder activities' and I want to be able to have a link to my document in the email content to web access.

Where should I add my activity?

Regards,

Ketsia

You are trying to attach an LFE shortcut which will want to open with the Laserfiche Client. If you want a URL to Web Access or WebLink, you need to add a token into the body of the email, and not as an attachment:

You will also need to configure the correct WebLink or Web Access URL before you proceed:

You will need add and configure a Generate Web Access URLs activity before your email activity. You will then have access to Web Access URL tokens for your emails.

Hi Cathy I have tried to put the activity just before my email activity in another workflow but I am confused with the configuration. Should I put the url of my web access or the path on my web access where my document is found?

Thanks,

Ketsia

I tried to configure it but I still don't have direct access to Web Access
