audit trail

asked on June 8, 2016 Show version history

Hi,

Is there any to have Audit Trail not audit a folder area.  We are loading over 200,000 docs a night for a special project into a folder area of Laserfiche we have created.  We would prefer NOT to generate audits of that data load and LF workflow process as it ends up requiring 1 GIG an evening in the binary audit files.  We have about 3 million docs to import so it will require a lot of space for the audit log.  We are on LF version 9.2.1.

Auditing is per user. You could turn off auditing for the user doing the import and Workflow's connection profile user.

If a user is associated to a group that has audit settings.  If I change the settings of the individual user to not audit anything, will that override the group setting of the auditing that the user is associated to?

Yes, directly assigned audit settings override settings inherited from groups.
